Sophia Flower

Sophia Flower, a Fairmont, WV native, graduated from West Virginia University in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Appalachian Studies. A WVU Presidential Student Ambassador, she was named WVU Outstanding Senior in 2024.

Currently, Sophia is studying at West Virginia University’s School of Medicine, where she will graduate with an M.D. in 2028. She hopes to give back to her state by becoming a practicing physician in West Virginia and do her part to make sure that West Virginians are happy and healthy.
