Kayla Thompson

When Kayla Thompson attended West Virginia University for two years as a biochemistry major, she played Women’s Varsity Soccer under Coach Nikki Izzo Brown.

Kayla transferred to Brown University where she graduated in 2022 with a degree in Health and Human Biology. Immediately after, she became a Professional Soccer Player for FC Grótta in Reykjavík, Capital Region, Iceland. In 2023, she became a co-founder, sporting director at ATX Women's Soccer, a club "that provides a pathway for women players to have careers in soccer, on and off the field."
