Casey Quinlan

Casey reminded the PSAs that “leaders identify themselves by BEING there” and that “leaders are only as good as the people who surround them.” “Do-ers will do; dreamers will dream. To identify yourself as a leader, you must be a do-er.” When Casey’s term with the Mountaineer Maniacs ended, he pointed out that he moved on, without reluctance, to allow the new leader to take his place. As he said, “Leaders also can lead by leaving.”

A native of St. Albans, WV, Casey received both a BS in Journalism and an MS in Athletic Coaching from WVU. In addition to working as a recruiter for both the University of Charleston and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he also worked for the WVU Foundation. As the first Executive Director of the Mountaineer Maniacs at WVU (https://maniacs.wvu.edu/), Casey was responsible for building an organization and a brand that would last for generations.
