SECOND-YEAR MEDICAL STUDENT AT WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY

Presently a second-year medical student at West Virginia University, Matthew currently serves as President of the Internal Medicine Interest Group and Circa Terra and is an ambassador for the School of Medicine.

A former WVU Presidential Student Ambassador, Outstanding Senior, and WVU Mountaineer of Distinction, Matthew Hudson is a second-year medical student at WVU School of medicine. He currently serves as President of several student organizations, Internal Medicine Interest Group and Circa Terra, while continuing his ambassadorship for the School of Medicine. Upon earning his M.D, Matthew plans to pursue an Internal Medicine residency at WVU. During his time in undergraduate education at WVU, Matthew was the recipient of numerous awards, such as: Outstanding Senior, Mountaineer of Distinction, Kenneth D. Gray Student Leadership Award, and SGA Assembly Member of the Year. He was a leader on campus, serving as President of the Global Medical Brigades, Health Sciences College Senator, various ambassadorships (including Presidential Student Ambassador), an undergraduate researcher in the WVU Vaccine Development Center, and a regular volunteer at the Pantry Plus More.
